    To “prove” yourself as any kind of designer, all you need is a body of work to show potential clients, as samples. Of course, it helps if your “samples” are actual projects from previous clients.

    To get started in your new career, just make a bunch of samples to show off your talents and put them in a portfolio, or web site, and then pass around your business card to anybody and everybody.
